Regarding last night's final EIP update, this:

"This" being an extensive postmortem from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.  I do believe I've read these very same things before, only elsewhere.  The names have changed but the circumstances and the excuses are pretty much the same ol', same ol'.

The thing that makes me laugh is all the "they were tired after sooo many games they played the last three years" BS press the Flightless Birds are getting.  So?  Do we know another team that might be in this same boat, only worse?  And by worse I mean the Flightless Birds went out in the first round in 2007 (4-1)... while the Beloved Wings lost the WCF in six games that same year.  But still... out is out.  For whatever reason.
